Position: Employee Benefits Consultant

We are a fast growing and stable company, looking for highly motivated inside & outside
salespersons, to work in our pleasant El Segundo offices. As an important member of our Employee Benefits Consultants, you will be responsible for cultivating cold leads into warm prospects, driving new business and expanding current account sales; initiating contact, determining and creating interest, and teaming with an outside sales force to coordinate meetings that further the sales process. This tactical, inside, sales position requires you to leverage the telephone to identify and set up appointments with key buying influences in complex organizations.

This position is responsible for initiating the early stage of the client relationship from prospecting to
the hand off to regional Senior Management and in the case of some services - to closure of business with the client. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record for developing relationships and getting in at the "C" level. The position will initiate client relationships from the CEO/CFO/COO level
down to upper management.

This is a great opportunity for a high energy and self-motivated sales professional. Since this is a
full-time and part-time position, we are open to flexible work hours and varying days of the business week. We welcome part-time moms, interns or graduate students.
This position has a base + unlimited commissions.

Main Accountabilities:
 
• Initiate contact and establish interest with key decision makers of organizations that fit our targeted profile to qualify sales opportunities.
• Secure follow-up meetings and set appointments for the outside sales force.
• Effective follow up, management and tracking of accounts in support of the outside sales force.

Experience, qualifications and other requirements specific to the role:

• 1-2 years of lead generation/inside sales or professional telemarketing experience.
• A professional, articulate, persuasive phone manner, conduct and a command-presence are a must Strong telephone and web-based demonstration skills required.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast pace high energy environment with changing needs and requirements. .
• Demonstrated ability to work in a challenging growth environment with evolving strategic and tactical plans.
• Must be passionate about telesales and working over the telephone. Must have experience in
telesales and possess exceptional verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated capability to deliver against aggressive revenue and team goals.
• Focused, self-motivated inside salesperson with a successful individual sales record.
• Extremely detail-oriented, flexible and reliable as a team player, with the ability to take direction.
• Highly motivated self-starter dedicated to achieving goals and performance metrics while applying effective time management and organizational skills.
• Aggressive and proactive, individual who desires growth and continual challenge in the area of sales.
• High aptitude for learning in a fast paced evolving environment Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work in situations requiring multi tasking activities and call handling.
• Possess a solid skill set in calling on decision makers. Must be capable of relationship development, opportunity identification and pipeline tracking and building.
• Must be a team player; results oriented with a strong attention to detail. Coordination with the outside sales team is critical to success.
• Display high levels of energy and drive, thrives under pressure, with strong business acumen, aggressive nature, strong process orientation and excellent written communication skills.
• Demonstrated persuasion skills and ability to close the sale or to qualify and pass the opportunity to
a team member.
